One police officer was killed and seven others were injured amid bombings at three different places in Quetta.

Three large explosions occurred in various locations in Quetta, one of which occurred near an ATF truck on Karani Road in the Shalkot police station area, injuring seven personnel and killing one.

The injured were sent to BMC Hospital for treatment. According to the authorities, the explosive material was positioned along the roadside.

The police named the slain officer as Sepoy Dilbar Khan.

The second incident occurred on Qambrani Road, where unidentified individuals assaulted a mobile phone business with a hand grenade. According to police authorities, there were no casualties or property damage recorded during the incident.

The third explosion was heard near the Killi Shabu section of Airport Road, but police and law enforcement are still investigating its type and level of damage.

Police and rescue crews have arrived at the area, and additional investigations are underway.

Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi has denounced the terrorist attacks in Quetta. He extended his sympathies to the victim’s family and those harmed.
