Judicial Commission nominates two names for IHC and three for BHC as additional judges.

The Judicial Commission of Pakistan has completed the nomination of two names for appointment as Additional Judges for Islamabad High Court and three candidates for Baluchistan High Court in two separate sessions held at the Supreme Court premises here on Friday.

The Judicial Commission of Pakistan met twice, once to consider nominations for the appointment of Additional Judges in the Islamabad High Court and again to consider nominations for the appointment of Additional Judges in the High Court of Balochistan, in the Conference Room of the Supreme Court of Pakistan in Islamabad.

During the first meeting, the Commission nominated Muhammad Azam Khan, District and Session Judge, and Inaam Ameen Minhas, Advocate Supreme Court, for appointment as Additional Judges of the Islamabad High Court. During the second meeting, the Commission unanimously nominated Muhammad Asif, Advocate Supreme Court, Muhammad Ayub Khan, Advocate Supreme Court, and Muhammad Najam-ud-Din Mengal, Advocate Supreme Court, for appointment as Additional Judges of the High Court of Balochistan.

In both sessions, the Commission unanimously resolved that nominees who did not get the needed majority of the Commission’s entire membership to finalize their nominations this time might be re-nominated for future vacancies.
