The appointment of three new judges to the Balochistan High Court has been notified.

The Law Ministry issued a gazette notification on Saturday appointing three new judges to the Balochistan High Court (BHC).

The Law Ministry released the notification following the president’s confirmation of the nominations.

Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Ayub Khan, and Najam-ud-Din have been appointed as additional judges to the BHC. According to the notice, these judges have been appointed for a year.

On Friday, at a meeting presided over by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi, the Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) authorized the one-year appointment of three extra judges to the Balochistan High Court (BHC).

According to a statement from the JCP, the commission met in the Supreme Court’s conference room.

The JCP unanimously confirmed the names of SC lawyers Mohammad Asif and Muhammad Ayub Khan, and by a majority decision, appointed SC lawyer Muhammad Najamuddin Mengal as additional BHC judges.
