ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – South Korea’s men’s national hockey team will visit Pakistan from July 27 to August 9, 2026, thanks to efforts by Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) President Mohyuddin Wani.
During the visit, a unique training camp will be held in Islamabad, along with practice matches against Pakistan’s national hockey team.
The 25-member South Korean delegation will include 20 players and five officials. During the visit, the Korean squad will train at Pakistan’s advanced hockey facilities and face the national team in a number of practice matches.
PHF President Mohyuddin Ahmed Wani welcomed the visit, stating that the presence of a strong Asian squad will be a beneficial and inspiring opportunity for Pakistani athletes.
He said that the visit demonstrates worldwide confidence in Pakistan’s sporting facilities, enabling atmosphere, and security procedures.
The Pakistan Hockey Federation described the visit as an essential step in reviving international hockey in the country and exposing local players to world-level competition.
The entire itinerary for the training camp and practice matches will be released in the following days.
