ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) Pakistan and Turkmenistan have agreed to speed the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project, demonstrating their commitment to ongoing cooperation.
This agreement was achieved during a meeting on Wednesday between Dr Musadik Malik, Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Petroleum, and Rashid Meredov, Turkmenistan’s Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs, who is in Pakistan for a two-day visit.
Dr. Musadik Malik welcomed the Turkmen group and thanked them for their courtesy during his last visit to Turkmenistan.
He stated that the visit of Turkmenistan’s Foreign Minister is an important step toward boosting diplomatic and commercial ties between the two countries.
