MOSCOW (Reuters) – After US President Joe Biden abandoned his reelection bid, the Kremlin stated that Russia’s top priority was achieving its aims in the Ukraine war, not US politics, which Moscow predicted would alter dramatically in the following months.
Biden abandoned “The elections are still four months away, and that is a long period of time in which a lot can change,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told SHOT.
“We must be patient and closely monitor what happens. “The priority for us is the special military operation,” Peskov said, referring to President Vladimir Putin’s preferred phrase for the Ukraine battle.
