LONDON (Reuters) — British opposition leader Rishi Sunak unveiled his shadow cabinet on Monday, with several senior ministers returning to their previous jobs in government before last week’s parliamentary election, and former Foreign Secretary David Cameron resigning.

Andrew Mitchell will handle the foreign policy brief in the opposition party leader’s interim shadow cabinet, which is made up of top spokesmen chosen to replicate the government cabinet.

Last week, the Conservative Party experienced a historic election defeat, with a record number of cabinet ministers losing their seats, including Grant Shapps, former defence secretary.
