ISLAMABAD: The Judicial Commission will convene today (Friday) to discuss the appointment of ad hoc justices to the Supreme Court of Pakistan for terms of three years.
At 3:00 p.m., Qazi Faez Isa, Pakistan’s Chief Justice, will preside over the meeting. The Supreme Court’s ad hoc judge appointments will be examined at the meeting.
It is important to note that Justices Tariq Masood Khosa, Mazhar Alam Miankhel, Maqbool Baqir, and Mushir Alam were designated as ad hoc judges to be appointed to the supreme court.
But the offer has been turned down by Justice (retd) Mushir Alam and Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqir.
