ISALAMABAD – In the event that the missing people are not found, a senior judge of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) made a suggestion on Wednesday that he would order the filing of a lawsuit against Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti and the acting prime minister.
Judge Mohsin Akhtar Kayani of the IHC heard the Baloch Students Commission’s lawsuit about forced disappearances.
In the course of the hearing, information on the missing pupils surfaced, revealing that 28 kids were unaccounted for while 22 had been found. The lack of accountability mechanisms and law enforcement against the powerful and influential was lamented by Justice Kayani.
