On Saturday, the banking court in the money laundering case approved the surety bonds provided by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf President Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and ordered his release.
Details indicate that efforts to free Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, the former chief minister of Punjab, have stepped up. Mr. Elahi filed the surety bonds to the FIA banking court, and they were accepted.
After the surety bond for the PTI president had been verified, release orders had been given. As soon as jail officials obtain the release order, the former chief minister and PTI president will be released today.
