Two tribes engaged in fighting over a coal mine boundary in the Dara Adamkhel section of the district of Kohat, resulting in at least 16 deaths and multiple injuries.
According to police sources, on Monday, the Sunni and Zarghoon Khel tribes exchanged fire, resulting in the claimed deaths of 16 people—11 on one side and 5 on the other.
The injured and deceased were promptly sent to a hospital in Peshawar for treatment and postmortem examinations.
