LAHORE (A News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif returned to Lahore from London on Monday following a four-day trip to the UK. During his time in London, he attended seven medical appointments and met with different delegations.

According Pakistani reports, the Prime Minister will spend Monday night at his own house in Lahore and is scheduled to leave Islamabad today.

It is worth mentioning that there has been speculation among the opposition and other groups in the nation about the selection and announcement of the Chief of Defence Forces. However, government ministers and advisers have stated that the situation will be settled once the Prime Minister returns.

The Prime Minister’s tour began with an official visit to Bahrain, where he met with Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Bahrain’s Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.

After finishing his official duties in Bahrain, the Prime Minister proceeded to the United Kingdom for a private visit.
