LAHORE (A-News)- On Monday, the province celebrated Punjabi Culture Day with typical zeal.
Staff from all government departments were dressed in traditional cultural wear.
All policemen wore traditional Punjabi turbans.
Cultural Day activities were also organized at all art councils in Punjab.
All of Punjab’s government schools celebrated the day with great passion and energy.
Meanwhile, Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bukhari said that a spectacular Culture Day celebration will take place on Thursday (April 17) at Alhamra Hall in Lahore, with Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz addressing the crowd.
She stated that Maryam Nawaz has a strong emotional affinity to Punjabi culture.
She stated that the Punjabi turban represents pride, honour, and dignity for Punjabis, and that Punjabi culture has a distinct identity across the world.
She stressed that the Punjab government’s objective is to promote and transmit Punjabi culture to future generations.
