The highly anticipated final will take held on Sunday in Dubai. Kohli sustained the injury during a net practice session at the ICC Cricket Academy.
According to sources, the Indian hitter was facing fast bowlers in the nets when a strong ball damaged his knee, forcing him to stop practicing immediately.
India’s physiotherapists swiftly inspected him, provided a spray, and bandaged the injured region.
Despite his injury, Kohli stayed on the field, monitoring the remainder of the training session and informing his colleagues and coaching staff on his fitness.
Later, the Indian coaching staff verified that Kohli’s injury was not significant and that he would be completely able to play in the final.
