RAWALPINDI: Pakistani security forces killed 30 khwarij during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s South Waziristan district on Tuesday, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

“On 17 February 2025, security forces conducted an operation in general area Sararogha of South Waziristan District on the reported presence of Khwarij,” according to the military’s propaganda arm.

It stated that throughout the operation, security personnel efficiently engaged the terrorists’ position, resulting in the deaths of 30 people.

“A sanitation effort was underway to eradicate any more Kharji located in the region. The security forces are resolved to eliminate the threat of terrorism from the country,” the ISPR stated.

Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for killing thirty Khwarij in the Sararogha region of South Waziristan.

In their speeches, they emphasized their commitment to fighting terrorism until it is completely eradicated from the country.

The president stated that the entire nation is unified against terrorism.

The prime minister promised to continue thwarting the wicked schemes of humanity’s adversaries, as security forces inch closer to their objective of completely eradicating terrorism in the country.
