PESHAWAR – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration has sought the Peshawar High Court to form a judicial committee to investigate the May 9 incidents.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Law Minister Aftab Alam Afridi stated that he has addressed a letter to the Peshawar High Court chief justice requesting a judicial commission.
The minister petitioned the high court after the provincial cabinet approved the request.
Afridi stated that the chief justice would reveal the names of the commission members, which would be led by a high court judge.
It should be noted that on Saturday, the KP cabinet approved the formation of a judicial committee to investigate the May 9 incidents.
