PESHAWAR (Anews) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur stated on Friday that the province government’s primary priority is to safeguard residents’ lives and property, as well as to create peace and order in Kurram.
According to a spokeswoman for the Chief Minister’s House of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the province government’s helicopter service is still in operation as per specific directives from Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
He added that the helicopter service will continue until the land connection to Kurram was unblocked, and that six trips to Kurram were made using the MI-17 chopper on December 26.
He went on to say that the helicopter service has already transported 613 individuals, including jirga members and regular inhabitants like as children, mothers, students, and sick.
CM Gandapur claimed that the province administration was well aware of the challenges that Kurram’s inhabitants were now facing.
He expressed optimism that Kurram’s people’s difficulties would be handled as quickly as possible and that normality would be restored in the region.
Gandapur further stated that attempts were being made to find a peaceful and acceptable solution to the problem, encouraging all parties concerned and local leaders to support the province government’s efforts for the sake of peace. He emphasized that the first objective and obligation was to safeguard residents’ lives and property while also establishing peace and order.
