LAHORE – The Punjab Bar Council issued an appeal on Saturday for a province-wide walkout over police activities and political detentions.
The Punjab Bar declared that all of the province’s attorneys will not show up in court.
The statement calls for an end to the arrests of attorneys and political activists. The announcement of Lahore’s civil court division is one of the reasons given. The bar insisted that the government take it down right now.
Additionally, the Punjab Bar Council urged that the government immediately reverse the court fee hike. It’s said that the government is constantly hiking electricity prices and imposing taxes on the populace, thereby draining their resources.
