WASHINGTON (A News) — Richard Grenell, Donald Trump’s choice for special envoy, has stated that Marco Rubio, Trump’s projected Secretary of State, intends to discuss Pakistan’s missile programs.
Grenell stated in an interview that nuclear countries are treated differently, and that Rubio is prepared to face Pakistan’s missile project.
Responding to a query, Richard Grenell stated, “Khan had a ‘very good relationship’ with Trump during his first term as US president, when the former was prime minister of Pakistan from 2018-22.”
He demanded Imran Khan’s release from jail, claiming Khan faced the same charges as President Trump.
Grenell responded to a previous comment by State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller, stating, “What Matt Miller … really meant was free Imran Khan.”
