KARACHI – The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) urged on Tuesday that the government hold the nation’s general elections within 90 days.
During a meeting with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja, the PPP expressed its concerns.
The party reaffirmed its commitment to holding general elections on schedule, stating that they must take place within the constitutionally mandated 90-day window.
The Council of Common Interests (CCI) earlier this month approved a new census, and the electoral body announced the timetable of new delimitations to be conducted in accordance with those results on August 17.
