Reuters) After the U.S. Open, American Jack Sock will end his career as a tennis player, the former world number eight announced on Sunday.

The most prominent victories for Sock, 30, include the 2017 ATP Masters 1000 title in Paris, as well as the men’s doubles titles at Wimbledon in 2014 and 2018 and the 2018 U.S. Open. Sock has also won 17 tour-level singles wins.

At the 2016 Olympics in Rio, he also took home a gold in mixed doubles and a bronze in men’s doubles.

At Flushing Meadows, Sock will partner with John Isner, who is planning to retire after the conclusion of the year’s last Grand Slam.
