ISLAMABAD – Latif Khosa, the PTI chairman’s counsel, got trapped in the elevator of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) for around 30 minutes on his way back from the Toshakhana case hearing.
Several attorneys, including the PTI chairman’s legal team, were trapped in the elevator for half an hour.
Advocate Naeem Haider Panjotha, Ali Ijaz Buttar, and other lawyers were on the elevator when it broke down in the middle of its journey.
Despite several attempts, IHC workers were unable to access the door, and attorneys attempted but failed to smash it.
Khosa boarded the elevator from the second story, but it was unable to reach the ground floor.
The rescue workers eventually busted down the door.
