Lieutenant General Alfons Mais, Chief of the German Army, met with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir at the GHQ on Tuesday.
The discussion covered topics of mutual interest, regional security, and defense cooperation, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Both dignitaries expressed their intention to strengthen bilateral cooperation in all areas.
The visiting dignitary recognized and welcomed the Pakistan Army’s victories in the battle against terrorism, as well as Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to restore peace and stability to the region.
