Talha Mahmood, the federal minister for religious affairs, announced on Thursday that more refunds would be given to pilgrims under the government’s Hajj programme.
Mr. Mahmood stated during a news conference that an additional Rs97,000 will be reimbursed to the pilgrims in addition to the Rs55,000 that had previously been refunded under the government’s programme for those who had performed the Hajj.
According to Mr. Mahmood, the payment of the sum will start on Monday and every cent saved will be reimbursed.
