Political parties in Sindh decided on Monday to summon a meeting on August 4 (Friday), putting the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) to the test.

The consultative conference was attended by political figures from the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), and Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA).

The possibility of forming a new platform with lawmakers who share similar opinions will be considered. Furthermore, the formation of a new alliance in place of the GDA was being discussed.

Previously, JUI-F supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman met with GDA leadership.
