A small corporate flight carrying six people crashed and burnt in a field near an airport outside Los Angeles early Saturday, according to local and federal authorities.
The Cessna C550 corporate jet was flying from Las Vegas when it crashed near French Valley Airport, about 85 miles (136.79 km) south of Los Angeles, at roughly 4:15 a.m. (0815 GMT), according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The passengers’ identities were not immediately accessible.
