The prosecution’s attempt to indict the PTI chairman in the Quetta murder of a well-known lawyer was dismissed by the Supreme Court on Tuesday.

Due to opposition to their client’s nomination in the murder case, the defence has petitioned the court to get a stay order. But the motion to revoke the non-bailable warrants that had been issued for the accused was also denied by a two-judge panel made up of Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Justice Ayesha Malik.

The bench stated that the two-member Supreme Court bench was unable to grant a stay because the plea had been rejected by a two-member high court bench.
