On Friday, earthquake tremors were detected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Swat district and surrounding regions.
The magnitude of the earthquake was 4.4 on the Richter scale, the depth was 124 km underground, and the epicentre was near the border region of Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, according to the Seismological Centre.
The district government went on to say that no one had died or been injured as a result of the earthquake. All appropriate institutions, however, had been notified.
Citizens who felt the earthquake’s shocks emerged from their homes and flocked to open places, chanting Kalima Tayyaba. However, they were terrified owing of the aftershocks.
