The most recent PTI leader to resign from office is Sardar Usman Buzdar, a former chief minister of Punjab.

He expressed his disgust for the violence on May 9 during a news conference held at the Quetta News Club and urged everyone there to disperse and think about Pakistan’s future.

Buzdar noted that the Pakistani government controlled the military facilities that were assaulted and that “I believe we should avoid such incidents.” He said that he had and would always support the Pakistani Army. Buzdar demanded that all of the currently jailed “innocent citizens” be released right now.
