PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – Authorities claimed a suicide bomber blew himself up at a checkpoint in North Waziristan area on Wednesday, killing three security officers and a civilian.
Another security professional and a police officer were also hurt in the incident. The wounded and martyred were sent to a hospital in Miranshah.
According to Deputy Commissioner Rehan Gul Khattak, three security officers, including a police officer and a civilian, accepted martyrdom. He said the suicide bomber blew himself up while being frisked at a security checkpoint guarded by six security guards.
This is the second terrorist strike in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in two days, after a gang of terrorists previously targeted the Manzalai-08 and Manzalai-10 well sites in Hangu district, killing six officials.
