DHAKA – Pakistan qualified for the Hockey World Cup by defeating Bangladesh in Dhaka.

The national team put up a strong performance in the second encounter of the three-game series, extending their undefeated streak and earning qualifying with authority. The match, held at the Maulana Bhashani Stadium, highlighted Pakistan’s quick offensive rhythm and disciplined organization over all four quarters.

Pakistan trounced Bangladesh 8-0 in the second match, taking complete control early and keeping pressure throughout. The team’s steady pace caused the hosts to struggle for control, while the visitors showed accuracy in both build-up play and finishing.
