mran Khan, who claims to have lost 85% vision in his right eye due to a medical issue, was granted access to physicians following Supreme Court orders.

His lawyer, Salman Safdar, paid him a visit earlier this week and subsequently presented a report to the bench, led by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi, expressing worry over his client’s health and demanding appropriate medical treatment.

According to sources, an ambulance with eye examination equipment was stationed inside the prison.

Jail authorities acknowledged that an initial medical report on the PTI founder’s treatment had been sent to the Punjab Home Department.

The report provides precise medical information such as blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and other vital signs. A secondary medical report detailing his eye condition has also been provided.

Furthermore, consultation notes and records of medical personnel involved in his care were supplied. The paperwork offers information about when and by whom examinations were done.

According to jail sources, medics on duty check his vital signs three times every day and keep a regular medical record.
