ISLAMABAD (A- News) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has provided a list of 21 Pakistani individuals who survived the recent boat disaster in Morocco.
According to a Foreign Office official, the survivors’ identities and passport numbers have been made accessible.
The survivors were Mudassar Hussain, Waseem Khalid, Mohammad Khaliq, Abdul Ghaffar, Gul Shamir, Tanveer Ahmed, Abbas Kazmi, Ghulam Mustafa, Badr Mohiuddin, and Imran Iqbal, among others.
The Foreign Office further stated that Pakistan’s diplomatic post in Rabat gave quick assistance to the affected individuals. The embassy organized critical supplies like as food, water, medication, and clothes. Local authorities have offered refuge and medical services at the embassy’s request.
The embassy’s consular staff was now in Morocco, working closely with local authorities to aid the survivors.
The Foreign Office also stated that attempts were being made to enable the survivors’ return to Pakistan, underscoring the government’s continuous commitment to the well-being of Pakistanis living overseas.
