ISLAMABAD: The Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has handed a written charter of demands to Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, requesting the formation of two separate commissions to probe the violent events on May 9 and November 26, 2024.
The PTI would also threaten to halt discussions if the government fails to form independent commissions investigating the incidents.
The third round of talks between the government and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf negotiating committees has commenced.
The third round of discussions between the government and PTI’s negotiating teams is now underway in Parliament House, overseen by Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, PM’s Adviser Rana Sanaullah, Senator Irfan Siddiqui, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Naveed Qamar, and Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar represent the
