Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has got a positive reaction from the public for its Paris route, which is scheduled to depart on January 10, 2025 after a four-year hiatus, since all economy tickets have been sold out in advance.

According to a spokeswoman for the national carrier, all economy class tickets for the aircraft from Islamabad to Paris are sold out. The first flight would generate more than 11 crore rupees in income for PIA.

According to the spokesperson, the flight has a total capacity of 323 people. Only eleven executive economy tickets are available on the first flight. Approximately 85 percent of the seats for next week’s flights have been sold. Only a few traces of the executive economy survive. There was a high demand for direct flights from Europe to Pakistan, PIA spokesperson concluded.
