Mrunal Thakur, a Bollywood actress, made a hilarious social media error when she responded to a fan account thinking it was Pakistani actress Hania Aamir.
Hania’s verified fan account recently lauded Mrunal on X (previously Twitter), describing her as the “best actor of this generation” and the most versatile actress in India.
Mistaking it for an actual post from Hania herself, Mrunal reacted with appreciation, stating, “Hania, you made my day. “Thank you very much, my dear.”
It did not take long for netizens to spot the inaccuracy. Comments flooded in, with some joking that she should employ a more diligent PR crew. One person commented, “Real ID nahi hai (It’s not the real ID),” while another remarked, “Time to fire your PR!”
Mrunal took the issue in stride and reacted to a fan promising to assist boost her social media profile with humor, adding, “Hahahaha, very lovely. “I am my team!”
On the professional front, Mrunal is preparing for her next picture, ‘Dacoit’, which stars Adivi Sesh and will be released later this year.
