Over the previous 24 hours, at least 51 deported Pakistanis have arrived in Karachi from seven different countries, while 30 passengers were deplaned from foreign aircraft at Jinnah foreign airport in the port city late on Tuesday night owing to problems with their travel documents and other irregularities.

The event comes only a few days after at least 30 people scheduled to go to other destinations were removed from separate flights in Karachi on suspicion of human smuggling.
According to immigration sources, 11 of those offloaded earlier today were on business and visit visas to China and Malaysia, while four others were on family visit visas to Oman and were also denied boarding.

Another traveler with a visit visa for Uganda was treated similarly.

Other passengers that were offloaded were heading for Saudi Arabia, including five on Umrah visas, two on business visas, and two on employment visas, as well as a traveler on a personal visit visa.

Immigration officials stated that these individuals were prevented from traveling due to insufficient advance hotel reservations, insufficient travel cash, and other procedural flaws.

In another event, 51 Pakistani nationals deported from seven countries, including Saudi Arabia, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom, have returned to Karachi in the last 24 hours.

These Pakistanis were taken to Karachi on separate aircraft.

33 deportees came from Saudi Arabia and 14 from Iraq, with practically all traveling on emergency passports except for two citizens who travelled on their original documents.

According to immigration sources, Oman, Zambia, and Qatar each deported one Pakistani within the same time period.
