JAMSHORO – Roofs of numerous houses collapsed in on Saturday due to severe rain in the city’s outskirts, killing two people, including a woman, and injuring several more.
Torrential rains inundated streams and drains throughout the city. Low-lying areas were swamped by torrential rains, and the power system failed as dozens of electricity feeders tripped.
The most affected areas were Nooriabad and Jolad.
