ISLAMABAD – On Wednesday, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) ordered jail authorities to present Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman Imran Khan and deputy chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi via video link in a vandalism case on September 7.
ATC judge Tahir Abbas Sipra heard the vandalism case against Khan and Qureshi.
Judge Sipra inquired about Qureshi’s whereabouts and whether he was a convicted prisoner, to which Qureshi’s counsel stated that he was not convicted and was incarcerated in Kot Lakhpat Jail as a political prisoner.
