BUDAPEST (Reuters) – Formula One leader Max Verstappen claimed Red Bull needs to improve their car after McLaren locked out the front row in a dramatic Hungarian Grand Prix qualifying session on Saturday.
The triple world champion, who has won seven races this season, will start third on Sunday at a track with tough overtaking.
“I mean, yes, they (the enhancements implemented in Hungary) work, but we’re still not first, right? We need more. “It’s as simple as that,” the Dutch driver told journalists.
He revealed his fury, which was clear on his final flying lap, when he whacked the steering wheel as he crossed the finish line.
