LAHORE (APP) – Pakistan Railways has declared that, starting on Friday, July 19, all trains will have higher fares.

A press release distributed on Thursday announced a one percent fare hike for all postal, express, intercity, and passenger trains, including those that use contracted services. The justification for this modification was the implementation of fare rationalization.

All freight and goods train fares would increase by two percent. This had been communicated to all stations, booking offices, reservation offices, and pertinent personnel.
