LAHORE: Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the vice chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and a former foreign minister, has been transferred from Adiala Jail to Kot Lakhpat jail in Lahore.
Jail sources claim that Shah Mahmood was moved early in the morning, under strict security, to Lahore.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the leader of the PTI, was scheduled to appear before the anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore.
Seven cases related to the May 9 incident in Lahore have been brought against him.
In cases from May 9, Shah Mahmood Qureshi was investigated by Adiala jail police.
