ISLAMABAD – The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has prevented Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shaukat Yousafzai from visiting Britain today.

Shaukat Yousafzai, a former provincial minister, was once again deported from Islamabad International Airport.

The PTI leader was on his way to Manchester, England, via Turkey on a Turkish Airlines flight, but was halted by the FIA at the airport.

The FIA told Shaukat Yousafzai that he had been barred from travelling overseas, and his name had been added to the Exit Control List (ECL) in the first order, while the second order included his arrest.
