SHEIKHUPURA – According to witnesses and rescuers, two trains crashed on Sunday near Qilla Sattar Shah in the Sheikhupura region, injuring at least 20 people, including women and children.
Five of the victims are reportedly in critical condition at a local hospital where the injured were sent. A freight train that was already stopped on the main railway line was struck by the Mianwali-bound passenger train.
