On Sunday evening, a jeep transporting a wedding party crashed down a steep ravine near Ghari Dopata town in Muzaffarabad district, killing at least four people and injuring more than ten others.

The Jeep was carrying a local wedding party in the village of Moian Syedan, near Ghari Dopta Town, according to reports. When the driver lost control of the jeep owing to overspeeding, it crashed into a steep ravine, killing four persons and wounding numerous more.

Rescue personnel arrived on the scene and transported the deceased and injured to the Ghari Dopata Rural Health Centre. Three seriously injured people were eventually transferred to CMH Muzaffarabad.
