ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Yerzhan Kistafin, Kazakhstan’s ambassador to Pakistan, declared that direct flights between the two nations will begin in May 2023, increasing bilateral economic ties.
He made the remarks in Islamabad during a meeting with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister of Trade and Industry Adnan Jalil.
According to the envoy, direct flights between Lahore and Almaty will boost not just economic connections but also people-to-people interactions. He said that the two nations’ business groups and chambers of commerce may play a role in increasing bilateral trade between Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
Peshawar, as a gateway to Central Asia, is critical for bilateral commerce between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, according to the ambassador.
He emphasised the need of further strengthening economic and commercial ties between Peshawar and Central Asia.
