PTI announces that it will approach LHC to have Hamza removed as CM

Following the Supreme Court’s decision, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) declared on Wednesday that it will petition the Lahore High Court to have Hamza Shehbaz removed as Chief Minister.

Under the chairmanship of PTI Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, a consultative gathering was conducted in Zaman Park. Fawad Chaudhry, Moonis Elahi, Sibtain Khan, Mian Mahmood Ur Rasheed, Ejaz Chaudhry, Dr. Murad Raas, and other leaders were present during the meeting.

According to the meeting, Hamza Shehbaz only has 172 votes left due to the Supreme Court’s order not to count the ballots of deviant members. While PTI and PML-Q have 173 members, respectively.

The participants claimed that Hamza Shehbaz’s government was overthrown, and that they will file a petition in the Lahore High Court on Thursday.
