Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) claimed in a statement that security forces successfully repelled terrorist strikes at military bases in Balochistan’s Panjgur and Noshki districts on Wednesday evening.

Terrorists tried to target security forces camps in Panjgur and Noshki, Balochistan, late this evening, according to ISPR. Both attempts were effectively foiled, with terrorists suffering high fatalities.

Terrorists attempted to penetrate the security forces camp in Panjgur from two different sites, according to the ISPR statement. The terrorist plot was prevented, however, because forces reacted quickly.

During a fierce exchange of fire, one soldier was killed. Terrorists have escaped, according to the ISPR statement, while their fatalities are being determined.

“Terrorists attempted to penetrate an FC camp in Noshki, which was quickly reacted to,” the ISPR stated, adding that four terrorists were killed and one officer was injured during the shooting.

“Intermittent gunfire” was still going on, according to the statement.
