Pakistan has recorded 29 deaths in the previous 24 hours caused by a new coronavirus, bringing the total number of positive cases to 1,417,991. The total number of fatalities in the United States has risen to 29,248.
According to the most recent National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) data, 7,978 people tested positive with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
In terms of fatalities, Punjab is the worst-affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
So far, 13,151 people have died in Punjab, 7,812 in Sindh, 5,996 in KP, 979 in Islamabad, 755 in Azad Kashmir, 367 in Balochistan, and 188 in Gilgit Baltistan as a result of the outbreak.
