ISLAMABAD: After the pair in the Islamabad harassment case failed to appear for a hearing, a district and sessions court in Islamabad issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against them on Tuesday, according to Geo News.
Judge Mohammad Ata Rabbani presided over the proceedings and voiced his displeasure at the couple’s absence. As a result, he issued a non-bailable warrant for both the man and the lady, ordering the senior superintendent of police (SSP) to appear in court.
Meanwhile, the couple’s lawyer pleaded with the court, claiming that both victims live outside of the city and that getting to court would take three hours.
